ADVENTURECluster_Metis, the domain decomposition tool of ADVENTURECluster uses METIS and ParMETIS as the kernel of graph partitioning, and incorporate I/O interface. Compared to ADVENTURE_Metis, its function is substantially enhanced, especilly on capability of manipulation of various elements or the multiple point constraint, or efficient partition by the judgement of the original model.
ADVENTURECluster_Metis corresponds each element to a vertex of the graph, and decomposes the original model in two levels into a specified number of domains with respect to the elements. The first level decomposition is specified as the number of processes, shown in the right figure. The second level decomposition is used for the calculational procedure of CGCG, the domain decomposition method of ADVENTURECluster, which is not shown in the figure.
